The owners wanted to open up the back of the house and get rid of the small attached garage that was inaccessible from the house. A new rear entry patio, mudroom / half bath and a four season screen porch were created to flow from the existing kitchen and dining room areas and provide a connection to the outdoors. Little rooms and walls at the kitchen rear hallway were removed to provide a more open yet traditional feeling. A new detached double garage takes its cue from the homes existing exterior detailing.
