Oaklawn Renovation, Edina

The owners of this home wanted a new kitchen, eating area, laundry room, half bath, and more of a connection to the exterior. The existing stairway was opened up to create a more traditional feeling.The exisiting kitchen location was flipped with a with a main level bedroom which opened up the main floor. The existing kitchen space is now a den/library that allows access to the new southside patio area. The new kitchen incorporates a built-in bench at the eating are and allows east morning light to stream in.
